Introduction:
Centella Asiatica, commonly known as Asiatic pennywort or Gotu kola, is a herbaceous, frost-tender perennial plant native to wetlands in Asia. It is used as a culinary vegetable and as medicinal herb. Centella asiatica is most commonly known as a cognitive enhancing supplement with additional benefits for cardiovascular health (in particular, chronic venous insufficiency), skin regeneration rates and wound healing, and possible benefits to anxiety and rheumatism.
